Zwei Sinn Meiers, Bistro, Fine Dining in Nuremberg

Update 11/25/2020: Unfortunately, foie gras is offered in the current takeaway menu. It is disappointing that this organ, which has been consciously pathologically altered by the most severe cruelty to animals, is brought to the table here. When asked about it, it is stated succinctly that one has a clientele who ask for it. Very disappointing that this company supports animal abusers for profit. There are numerous 2 and even 3 star chefs who do not go along with this mess.

Five stars for star cuisine. On the way to the next one, I think. Unagitated, fine service. Often weep surprisingly. The dishes are a culinary dream trip. We'll be back for sure. Unreservedly recommendable. Thank you!

The bistro offers first-class cuisine at moderate prices We only spent one night in Nuremberg and had reserved a table in the bistro for the evening. The restaurant can be reached by car from the center in a few minutes and parking is easy on the street or in the parking garage next door. The decor of the bistro is modern without looking cool. As expected, it was fully booked when we arrived on Saturday evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and the noise level lively. We had a sufficiently large table for two by the window. The tables had a reassuring safety distance and the service staff and the other guests also conscientiously followed the corona protective measures. The kitchen impresses with both the product quality and the fresh, aromatic preparation and presentation - this corresponds to the excellent star cuisine of the fine dining restaurant of the ZweiSinn Meier. Only the lighting concept in the bistro seems to us to be in need of improvement. The ambience is deliberately kept dark and the tables are illuminated glare-free by ceiling spots. It's a shame that only one dish is illuminated at a time - because the visual presentation is in no way inferior to the culinary experience. The aromatic starters were handcrafted to a high standard: foie gras terrine with brioche, walnuts and salad, as well as a fine-flavored scallop carpaccio. The roasted pork belly on beluga lentils and horseradish foam impressed with its texture and balanced aroma. The eagle fish, fried perfectly on the skin, was served with fresh porcini mushrooms, wild broccoli and fregola tostado. I enjoyed the Sardinian pasta, which was prepared like a risotto, with the fish. Conclusion: If you want to enjoy star cuisine in the bistro, you cannot avoid the ZweiSinn Meiers in Nuremberg. Tip for the photographers among the evaluators: Check the lighting conditions at the table so that you get a well-lit plate.

Luxury restaurant with an affordable lunch menu: One dish from Mon-Fri for 13 euros. The matjes fillet that is served tastes great and is lovingly prepared. Outside you sit relaxed and calm, inside it's really nice. Delicious beer from a small Franconian brewery. Unfortunately no parking space - but there is always one.

Star cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. No stiff demeanor. Exciting food and interesting corresponding wines. Good value for money in my opinion.

Beautiful ambience both inside and out. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio didn't convince me of the food. For these prices I expect high-quality, sustainable quality, organic and above all animal welfare, as well as a vegan selection! Vegan selection not really available and still charged the full price. The stuffed duck repelled me on the menu ... Sell ​​animal quality products with a clear conscience? Ugh 😪

The decoration on the squares and in the whole restaurant is reasonable and tasteful. The toilets are always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a harmonious impression. The professionalism of the staff is really great. For gourmets there is a lot a real treat. The portions are in a good and filling league, and I think the prices are completely okay.

Great third wedding anniversary. Fantastic food. Perfect, non-intrusive service. Absolutely recommended if you have the necessary change.

New menu with new plates - excellent 😀

Friends had booked the place for their wedding dinner and what the team from restaurant ZweiSinn created was, simply put, fantastic. The food they served was of highest quality, the taste was awesome and the way i the dishes were presented was excellent. See for yourself in the pictures. I had not expected such great experience. Expect to see me again next time I come to Nuremberg. I can’t judge the staff’s matter of the English language but I’ll get you’ll figure out ;-) Enjoy a wonderful dinner at ZweiSinn.

A deserved Michelin star! So much ahead. The restaurant is very harmonious and modern and the kitchen knows what it is doing. The dishes of the star cuisine are very creative, artfully arranged and develop a varied, tasty variety. The price is reasonable for a star cuisine. Unfortunately, the lighting concept is very nice, but unfortunately I had shadows on my plate. Unfortunately, the eye could only eat in the dark. The service is very friendly and courteous, but sometimes gets stuck when explaining the courses. However, these two weak points do not justify a deduction of points and so my conclusion: A great evening with wonderful dishes and very friendly people! Highly recommended!

Small selection, but great quality food. Very nice atmosphere and professional staff, but still like to grin sometimes. Food great!

Incredibly great, modern restaurant with delicious and high quality food. The decor is incredibly beautiful, tastefully and by the dimmed lighting really comfortable. We had our Christmas party there last year and were totally thrilled!

Very good food and service with friendly staff

Received nice, service was very friendly and attentive! Unfortunately, food was not according to the price! Unfortunately, I was really disappointed!

Our first star menu, and we loved it! The atmosphere is very pleasant. The lighting conditions are cuddly, but not too dark, everything was very clean and there was a little bit of jazz in the background. The waiters were very friendly, always ready but very discreet. The food was just great! The different flavors were perfectly matched, and on every plate there was more than a surprise. From a craftsmanship point of view, this has been perfect since I can judge! We ordered the 6-course menu, and by the many greetings from the kitchen there were actually 11 courses. So we were definitely full (we are both much better). We were particularly pleased that the boss himself came to the table at the end of the evening and asked if everything was to our satisfaction. Yes that was it! And a big thank you!

We were in the fine dining area and chose our 4-course menu without accompanying wine. For this we decided on two open wines from the wine list - which, as we have learned, are also part of the wine accompaniment to the menu. The menu was good, balanced and well coordinated. The individual dishes were nicely arranged and were visually really fun. Nevertheless, the Wow! No effect, which is why we subtract a star.

Me and my wife went here on our anniversary and loved it .
